| Most people tolerate the treatment well, describing the feeling as a short stinging sensation. In preperation for the proceedure we recommend that you take an over-the-counter analgesic thirty minutes before treatment. The area will be cooled before treating the tattoo which helps to relieve any discomfort. Topical analgesic cream is also available and can be applied an hour before laser therapy to help numb the skin if necessary. Immediately following the proceedure, the skin can be cooled with an ice pack. |
